InFocus Urgent Care is Hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner Near Brunswick, NJ

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic illnesses. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations
- Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Athena)
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications:
- Current valid state licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings, urgent care diagnostic evaluation, durable medical equipment (DME), and medical terminology is highly desirable
- Proficiency in administering injections and other minor procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport with patients and their families
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Weekends are required

- Dot Certified preferred

Willing to travel to other locations (West Windsor, Ewing, Edison NJ)

- This is a 1099 position.
