ABOUT THIS POSITION:

As a Systems Integration Engineer with INflow Federal, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative program and project integration solutions across the enterprise, defining integration and interface requirements to meet our customer's critical needs.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Automated Deployment Tools:
• Utilize automated deployment tools (GitLab Runners, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
• Create and update automated deployment scripts for software baselines.

• Infrastructure and System Integration:
• Understand compute, relational database management systems, storage, networking, transport, load balancing, and security constructs for both on-premise and cloud infrastructure.
• Design and implement high-availability architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for applications, systems, and projects in targeted environments (Dev, Test, Stage, Ops).

• Enterprise Tool Integration:
• Perform hands-on integration and testing with enterprise tools (audit, monitoring, security scanning, etc.).
• Conduct integration with enterprise authentication systems (PKI, LDAP, OAuth, etc.).

• Deployment Automation:
• Provide methods to automatically deploy services, COTS/GOTS products, custom code, and software using automated scripts written in Python, BASH, and other languages to meet program and product owner objectives.
• Review and improve existing processes, including creating and updating integration documentation.

• Research and Collaboration:
• Present results at program meetings, both internally and to customers.
• Leverage tools such as Google, GitHub, Reddit, ChatGPT, Bard, etc. for research and discovery of techniques and approaches to solve integration challenges. 

• Cloud Computing:
• Demonstrated understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and other cloud services.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services (familiarity with OpenShift is a plus).

• System Integration:
• Experience integrating software (COTS, GOTS, FOSS, etc.).
• Experience and understanding of proprietary and open-source applications and database services.
• Experience and understanding of Java, SQL, Python, and BASH.
• experience supporting both Linux and Windows environments

• Security and Databases:
• Thorough understanding of integrating systems and databases with varying architectures.
• Experience integrating security components with applications and databases.

• Technical Certifications:
• Network , Security , Software Development, or Cloud Computing.

• System Engineering Experience:
• Experience in system engineering.

• Programming and Scripting:
• Familiarity with additional programming and scripting languages (Java, C , HTML, etc.).

• General Skills:
• Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.).
• Excellent people and communication skills, including collaboration in a diverse team environment and interaction with customers.

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major (or 3 additional years of experience in information technology).

• Active DoD TS/SCI
