This position reports to Accountable Manager and VP of Operations. Manages and oversees all activity over Structures, Nacelles and Paint at Allflight. Provides guidance, OJT, training and requirements to 15 to 20 direct reports. Provides operational input for all deliverables (WO’s, Parts, Assemblies). Monitors performance, risk (schedule, budget, & requirements), and ensuring compliance with contract deliverables. Establish and maintain positive working relationships and collaboration with Sales, Customers and Leadership. Manage and coordinate operational risk to ensure deliverables are met. Also facilitates work teams, provides necessary training, leads problem resolution & process improvements. Develop employees’ and personal skills for continuous improvement.

  • Substitutions (research inventory for part/assembly substitutions)
  • Ensure Equipment is maintained and operational.
  • On-boarding new employees by coordinating e-mail, pentagon, and PayCom passwords.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Education and experience; Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years managerial experience in aircraft maintenance and modifications, Airline/MRO, in an operational position (Management position in one or several following fields: Line/Base Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, MCC).
• Airworthiness and Maintenance Regulation experience, understanding and detailed knowledge of regulatory requirements (FAA Part 145, Part 43, STC, EASA 145, PMA, AS9110).
• Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize, work under stress & drive change.
• Proven ability to manage customer expectations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to team and to work in cooperation with diverse teams.
• Project Management and Continuous improvement skills.
