Title: Lab Technician
Location: East metro close to I694/I94 and 36

We are a laboratory specialized in infectious disease testing. The focus is on antigen specific T-cell testing.

• The Lab Technician has accountability to support all laboratory testing needs on a daily basis.
• This position requires the ability to take direction, and at times work autonomously, to support the daily needs within the organization.
• The position requires significant attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• These positions will involve daily laboratory testing and handling of blood samples
• Techniques used in the lab are ELISPOT, ELISA, Western Blot, PCR, NGS and HPLC.
• Working under CMS/CLIA guidelines
• Document results and review data and use of LIMS
• Develop a strong knowledge of the methods used in the lab
• Participate in continuous improvement of laboratory and team operations
• Other responsibilities as required by specific lab

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology, Immunology or related science field preferred, but not required
• 0-3 Years of relevant work experience
• Minimal laboratory skills include: preparation of samples, calculation of results; evaluation of the quality of results; operation of common lab equipment; basic troubleshooting and maintenance of lab equipment
• Able to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; PC skills: proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Works well with individuals and teams; displays a positive attitude
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving ability; Flexibility and adaptability
• Available to work schedule mon through Friday, including once a month a half day on Saturday if available
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently organize workload and maintain proper documentation.
• High individual energy with very strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage in candid discussions
• Must work well in a team setting
• Ability to work independently or demonstrate ability to acquire such skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year

Education:

License/Certification:

• Medical Technologist (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Oakdale, MN: Relocate before starting work (Required)
