Senior Flutter Developer – Hybrid

Work model: Hybrid. The expectation is that the successful candidate will work out of our Global Headquarters in New York City ~50% of the time. Currently the team follows a schedule of alternating weeks in New York City (one week onsite, one week remote).

To be considered for the role, candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States or Canada, must reside in the Eastern time zone of the United States or Canada (with an approximate 5-hour door-to-door commute via airplane, car or train from Manhattan’s Financial District). inecta Food will pay for travel expenses to and from New York City via the most cost effective of plane, train or car; meal allowances; and will provide accommodations.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of a team of full stack developers working on key applications for inecta Food’s product.

• Architect efficient, effective, extensible and reliable technical solutions
• Application Development, Testing & Bug Fixing, Deployment
• Writing well designed and efficient code
• Investigating new technologies for improving application quality
• Ensure app design is in conformity with established architectural practices
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of development experience working with Flutter and significant working experience with Firebase
• Significant experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Strong expertise with good UX/UI design for optimal user experience
• Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Firestore
• Working knowledge of developing the latest user-facing features for a modern, highly responsive user interface
• Ability to consume external data sources and APIs through REST and JSON
• Knowledge of the latest mobile app development concepts, trends, software design patterns, usability, and HCI guidelines for mobile apps.
• Experience in working closely with business analysts and end-users to understand use cases and user needs
• Experience in giving and receiving code review feedback
• Excellent verbal communication skills and good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:

• Experience building front ends for business applications, especially in an enterprise environment
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across an array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Knowledge of ERP systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Compensation:

The base salary hiring wage range for this position, which inecta Food reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $90-120 USD / $95-120 CAD. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
