Job Description:
Overall responsibility for the IT operations activities maintenance, and management support of multiple networks (LAN, WAN, Wireless) and physical infrastructure inclusive of all hardware, software and services required to support end-user requirements and help desk operations to include Tier I, Tier 2, and Tier 3 support. Analyzes information technology needs for the organization, and establishes priorities for feasibility studies, system design, and system implementation, to develop and modify processing systems. Supervises the Information Technology Operations Staff. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities and staff involved in the study, design, development, and installation of data
processing systems, including systems analysis, programming and computer operations. Manages through analysts and programmers, in the development and installation of information systems for planning, control, and operational purposes. Supervises the conduct of feasibility studies for systems improvement and the preparation of systems
project proposals. Prepares long-range systems projects/plans with priority recommendations. Presents proposed systems projects to higher management. Reviews facility and equipment requirements and prepares related recommendations. Coordinates all decentralized data processing applications and monitors equipment utilization. Prepares operational forecasts and requirements for data processing, systems development, and communications. Prepares and administers project and department budgets and reports budget performance. Responsible for the employment, training, motivation and discipline of assigned employees.
Experience & Education:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related Field. minimum of 5 years within various disciplines in the IT function, including supervision/management experience.

U.S. Citizen and possess appropriate level DoD security clearance.
Skill Set or Certifications:
One or more of the following certifications: Network , A , Security , Microsoft Systems Engineer, and Cisco Certified Network Associate. Computing Environment (CE) certification is required within six (6) months of assignment.

None beyond those in Skill Set and Certification
