Responsibilities - Service Advisor:

• Guide service department customers through the auto repair and maintenance process, advise customers on options and costs, offer additional services and 'specials', and schedule appointments for service work
• Greet customers and answer questions, follow status of customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work, keep customers informed of changes, ensure customer's concerns were addressed and they are satisfied
• Develop a deep understanding of our service offerings, including technical aspects, benefits, and value propositions.
• Stay current with industry trends, changes, and advancements to provide informed recommendations to customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, escalating complex issues to the appropriate departments if necessary.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of customer interactions and service appointments.
• Generate regular reports on sales metrics, customer feedback, and service trends to inform decision-makers

Qualifications - Service Advisor:

• Automotive Service Advisor or Dealership experience is required
• Hyundai experience is preferred but not required
• Good computer, communications and customer service skills
• A positive attitude, good work ethic, and professional appearance
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of CRM software and other relevant tools is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A pleasant, energetic, conscientious and dependable self-starter
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Adept at working independently as well as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for learning about technical aspects of services and products.
• Flexibility in work schedule, including the ability to work evenings and weekends if required.
