Certifying Scientist
Location: West Chester, OH, 45069
We are looking for a Certifying Scientist with two or more years of experience and qualified under CLIA. This role is responsible for the quantitation of MS data and final review and release of patient reports for toxicological examinations of target compounds and metabolites.
- Utilize LCMS confirmation test results in a high complexity toxicology laboratory to complete the final review and certification of patient records with the established protocols for urine testing.
- Review calibration curves, QC data, and confirmation data.
- Review data reports individually checking for completion of all ordered tests.
- Transmit completed data analysis to the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- Participate fully in all quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards as outlined by the department, CLIA, and other applicable agencies.
- Understanding of Levy-Jennings charting.
- Adhere to CLIA and HIPAA compliance standards.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Toxicology specimen processing.
- LCMS maintenance.
- 2 years of experience
- Bachelor of Science degree
