Industrial Shadeports Inc is searching for full-time Construction Installation Crew Leader for our Fort Lauderdale location. This Position is responsible for installing Shade Sails and Shade Structures. Lead a crew of installers in executing the installation of steel and fabric shade structures:

Train and mentor team members, providing guidance on best practices and techniques.

Assign tasks to team members, provide clear instructions, and ensure efficient workflow

Monitor and inspect work progress to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality requirements.

Layout and prepare foundation, align columns.

Placement of steel shadeport structure posts (similar to fence posts).

Install shade sails by lifting and securing into place.

Site grading, cleanup and moving of materials.

A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Construction worker, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Work requires alert individuals with good balance and physical strength.

Ability to lift 60 pounds.

Ability to follow instructions and adhering to the Company’s safety standards and enforcing safety regulation.

Previous experience with canvas awnings, playgrounds, shade sails, fence installations, custom engineered construction products and projects is preferred but not required.

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements: Proven experience as a Crew Leader or in a similar leadership role.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

A valid FL driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation are required.

The Position will require day travel with crew to other counties in FL and occasional overnight travel (paid by company).
