Salary: $25 to $34

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
  • Point to point wiring of relays, controls, interfaces, and instrumentation.
  • Install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or other power tool-type equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members, builders, installers, engineers, and project managers.
  • Meet production deadlines.
  • Calculate electrical loads, specifications, requirements.
  • Complete project builds/implementation of control cabinets and equipment.
  • Testing of control cabinets and associated equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience building electrical control panels/electrical experience.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
  • Skilled in the use of measuring, diagnostic, and hand tools.
  • Knowledgeable in NEC (National Electrical Code) UL Listings.
  • Proficient in applying UL 508 standards.
  • Proficient in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
  • Self-motivated, task oriented.
  • Required to pass a preemployment drug screening.
  • Must be able to physically perform all required duties which may include bending, lifting 50-pound objects, carrying 50-pound items, squatting, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, working outdoors most of the time, or standing for prolonged periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience building electrical control panels/electrical experience.
