Due to continued growth, Industrial Inspection & Analysis has a rare opportunity in our A2LA accredited Metrology Lab for a senior level CMM Programmer / Master Inspector. POSITION SUMMARY

Performs dimensional inspection of manufactured components using touch probe CMMs, Vision CMMs, Laser Scanners, Computed Tomography machines, and hand tools. Prepares accurate inspection records for delivery to the customer in a timely and thorough fashion.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Programs and sets up and performs inspections on customer-supplied products, using a variety of equipment, including Touch Probe CMMs, Vision CMMs, comparators, and hand tools. 
• Proficient in Zeiss Calypso AND/OR Hexagon PC-DMIS CMM Software
• Offline and Online CMM Programming
• Support and train other employees in CMM Programming and Operation
• Support lab as an expert in GD&T and Metrology on CMM equipment.
• Perform First Article Inspections, Capability Studies, and Gage R&R studies.
• Completes and maintains all necessary documentation with a goal for 100% accuracy.
• Performs intermediate checks of equipment to confirm calibration before use.
• Works with others to have verification checks performed on failures.
• Interact with customers as needed to ensure customers stated and unstated needs are met fully.
• Maintains clean work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Three to five years of experience in manufacturing which may include machining, injection molding, or mechanical assembly.
• Minimum of Three years of experience with precision mechanical inspection.
• Minimum of Three years of Calypso and/or PC-DMIS Programming experience required.
• Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5-2009 / 2018 GD&T
• Able to teach Metrology and CMM Programming.
• Demonstrated outstanding character in the workplace.
• Strong written and interpersonal skills required
• Experience working independently under pressure with multiple deadlines.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. occasionally and sit for long periods of time.
