• Perform Hand Calculations to determine scope of higher detail analysis models
• Perform detailed analysis to solve diverse program structural challenges
• Perform peer reviews of all analysis to validate process and results
• Document results according to Raytheon standards
• Deliver results to customers (internal and external)
• Act as a technical leader and/or lead/mentor analysis teams Required Skill Sets:
• A degree in Mechanical or related Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience with structural analysis • Experience in Structural analysis structural (including static loads, thermally induced stress, shock, vibration, and fatigue) using ANSYS, NASTRAN, MSC Patran or equivalent
• Experience in mechanical principles to solve classical structural analysis solutions both inside and outside of finite element tools
• Experience in Windows and Office Suite
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
