Job Description: Groundskeeper
Our organization is seeking a skilled and highly motivated Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and safety of our landscape. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our grounds are visually appealing, healthy, and safe for everyone who visits.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the overall appearance of the grounds by mowing lawns, pruning trees and shrubs, and planting new flowers, trees, and shrubs.
- Operate and maintain grounds equipment and tools to ensure their proper function.
- Keep sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas clean and clear of debris and snow.
- Use fertilizers and pesticides to maintain the health and appearance of the landscape.
- Work with the team to develop and implement a grounds maintenance plan to ensure the grounds are well-maintained throughout the year.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundskeeper
- Knowledge of grounds maintenance and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate and maintain grounds maintenance equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to grounds maintenance
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
