Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced nursing care to adult Vascular patients.

Duties:

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

-Preparation of patient surgical notes

- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses

- Administer medications and injections as needed

- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care

- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results

- Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans

- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain up-to-date medical records

Requirements:

- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Indiana

- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner)

- Proficiency in vascular interventional radiology, vascular surgery, fistula management, end stage renal patients and hemodialysis is preferred

-Experience as a Surgical RN, RN First Assist preferred

-Experience with Ultrasonography is a plus

- Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
