Indiana Medical Research Institute is now seeking a full time Medical Assistant to be part of our Research Team.
Must be available to conduct on-site interview on April 17-18, 2024
Essential Responsibilities:
- Learns study protocols and monitors strict adherence to protocols by physicians, nurses, and research subjects.
- Recruits and enrolls research subjects into clinical research studies.
- Extracts data from subject's medical records to complete thorough and detailed case report forms required by specific protocols.
Administrative Duties:
- Scheduling
- Answering phones
- Patient Recruitment
Clinical Duties:
- Preparing exam rooms for research subjects
- Performing vitals and EKGS
- Performing injections
- Administering medications
Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fast learner and problem solver
- Detail-oriented and multi-tasking ability
- Excellent customer service
- Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and Microsoft Office applications. Type 40 WPM or more.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate from Accredited Medical Assistant Program
- High School graduate or equivalent required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
