Indian Hills Country Club is Hiring a Snack Bar Manager Near Mission Hills, KS
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have minimum of 2 years of Food and Beverage experience.
- Must be able to work a mix of mornings and evenings as well as weekends and all holidays during the pool season (End of April to mid-September).
- Show excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must be organized.
- Able to lead, motivate and inspire teamwork.
- Candidate should be available for a variety of shifts to include 8:00-3:00/ 12:00-7:00/ 3:00-10:00 Monday through Sunday (5 Shifts per week). Schedules will offer a different variety of shifts each week.
- Pay rate is commensurate to experience and availability, $19-23 per hour.
- This position requires a lot of face time with the members. Must be engaging, a people person and willing and able to interact in a positive manner with the Membership, their Guests and Staff.
- Provide food and beverage service in accordance with the menu and the clubs quality standards.
- Participate in staff hospitality.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, production, storeroom, pool deck, service, and other areas.
- Supervise staff and continually train to assure highest productivity, service, and conduct.
- Ensure that required income and cost control procedures are consistently used.
- Requisition supplies from club’s main kitchen and storeroom to ensure timely preparation of food.
- Supervises set up, shift change and closing.
- Delegates and participates in food prep and set up for service each shift.
- Complies with applicable health department guidelines and oversees staff does the same.
- Inspect club facility to ensure that sanitation, safety, preventive/other maintenance items are addressed.
- Assist with the production and service of food and beverage products prior to and during service.
- Assist with Monthly inventory.
- Manage employment activities for applicable staff members, including but not limited to, training, performance evaluations, discipline, etc.
- Manage pool related events as needed or in conjunction with the Banquet Chef
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
