Independence Association INC is Hiring a Group Home Manager (DSP) Near Brunswick, ME

Independence Association seeks a social services professional with management experience to work in one of our local group homes. As a Group Home Manager, you will play a key role in establishing a supportive relationship with our residents who have intellectual disabilities and/or autism, and your Direct Support Professional staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Person Centered Planning process
  • Ensure compliance with State and Agency policies and regulations
  • QA reviews of daily documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Individualized Behavior Support Plans and
  • Serve as the primary liaison between all other agency level departments, families and residential setting
  • Occasionally may work directly with our residents, as a Direct Support Professional

Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must have one year supervisory experience
  • DSP and CRMA certificates are preferred upon hire, but we will train the right candidate
  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of Positive Behavioral Supports/Behavioral Regulations
  • Must be good with people, thrive in an active and fast paced environment, work well both independently and as a team player
  • Must be comfortable supporting individuals with various levels of disability in a variety of different settings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
