Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly assistance.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
- Assist customers in locating products and provide product information.
- Cashiering:
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other electronic equipment.
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and debit card transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
- Ensure all prices and quantities are accurate and input correctly.
- Sales Support:
- Promote and upsell products and services to customers.
- Inform customers about special promotions and discounts.
- Maintain knowledge of store products and services.
- Inventory and Merchandising:
- Restock and organize merchandise on shelves.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean and orderly.
- Monitor and report inventory levels and discrepancies.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to meet store goals.
- Assist in training new employees when needed.
- Participate in store meetings and training sessions.
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately.
- Friendly, helpful, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise.
