Full-Time Permanent Role

General Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing various duties relating to the analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports.
• Participating in the management of Bank investments
• Coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments.
• Complying with operating policies and procedures established for the financial analysis function.
• Communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Responding to inquiries or requests for information.
• Maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

Essential Duties

• Performs various duties relating to the analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports.
• Ensures proper preparation and completion of regulatory reporting such as Call Report, GUDPA, Summary of Deposits, and FR 2900.
• Prepares reports and analysis to develop scenarios and strategies for Asset Liability Management.
• Assists in managing the Bank’s liquidity position and cash flow needs.
• Oversees the development and startup of the Asset Liability Management system for producing quarterly reports for ALCO.
• Prepares documentation for the annual external audit and federal/state regulatory examinations; gathers requested materials; and assists in preparing assigned schedules.
• Reconciles general ledger accounts; prepares journal entries to close the general ledger on a monthly basis.
• Assists with special financial projects as assigned.
• Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.
• Maintains appropriate records and provides assigned reports.

Education/Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field of study required; specialized bank finance education/training.
• Proficient knowledge of general ledger accounting and accounts payable functions, GAAP, and financial reporting, including regulatory reporting; working knowledge of Allowance for Loan and Lease Loss (ALLL).
• Proficient financial analysis skills; proficient organisational and process/project management skills; working knowledge of investment portfolio management.

Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) years’ related experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
