Position: LPN

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73104

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night shift 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Will assist with the nursing assessment through data collection, observation, and obtainment of vital signs on assigned patients or clients.
• Provide care according to an established nursing plan.
• Observe changes in patient’s condition and notify supervisory personnel if significant changes occur.
• Provide routine ostomy care, nasogastric tube placement and feeding and placement and discontinuing of oral-gastric tube.
• Will initiate and monitor oxygen therapy according to physician orders or unit protocol.
• Will suction and clean tracheotomy sites.
• May administer oral, intravenous, intra-muscular, intra-dermal, subcutaneous, sub-lingual, vaginal, rectal and topical medications.
• Prepare patients for routine physical examinations and assist the physician during examinations

Requirements:

• LPN license
• BLS
