Job Summary:
We are seeking for a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for analyzing construction blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare take-off for construction projects.
Duties:
- Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate take-off.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and general contractors to gather necessary information for estimates.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs.
- Present take-off to management and participate in bid reviews.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of construction management principles.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors.
- Speak, read and write English and Spanish to be able to communicate effectively with field and corporate employees.
- Must be able to manage their schedule effectively to presents take-off in a timely manner.
