Payroll Specialist:

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Payroll Specialist to join their team!

As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the payroll team, reporting directly to the Payroll Manager. You will be responsible for processing payrolls for approximately 3000 employees. This role requires expertise in payroll processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Process biweekly hourly non-exempt, driver, and semi-monthly exempt payrolls.
2. Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
3. Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues.
4. Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information.
5. Stay updated on payroll industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
6. Utilize Workday Payroll, time tracking, and absence systems for efficient payroll processing.
7. Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
8. Generate payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

1. CPP Certification required, or equivalent degree.
2. Minimum of 5 years as a payroll professional, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
3. Proficient in Workday Payroll, time tracking, and absence systems highly preferred. 
4. Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
6. Effective communication skills to interact with team members and employees.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Problem-solving skills to address payroll discrepancies and resolve issues.
