InBloom Autism Services is Hiring a Lead RBT Near Woburn, MA

Overview

The role of the Lead Registered Behavior Technician (Lead RBT) is to provide ABA services to InBloom Autism Services clients. The Lead RBT will work closely with their Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) to make sure that client is making progress on goals.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the treatment plans created by the Clinical Supervisor, in one-on-one or group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment teaching arrangements. Follow prescribed skills acquisition and behavior change protocols.

  • Assist with preparing materials as necessary.

  • Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior.

  • Assist with skill acquisition and behavioral assessments. Collect data on all programming.

  • Document interventions, progress data, session notes.

  • Assist with parent training of client’s individualized treatment and behavior change protocols, through direct teaching, modeling and fidelity checks.

  • Immediately report to BCBA any incidents/variances or complaints.

  • Attend work and arrive in a timely manner.

  • Communicate with BCBA regarding clients progress.

  • Willingness to work variable hours. 

In addition to the regular Registered Behavior Technician duties/responsibilities you will receive leadership responsibilities:

  • Conduct RBT Trainee interviews.

  • Assist RBTs in their daily Central Reach communication.

  • Actively report RBT performance status to the Chief Information Officer (CIO).

  • Contribute to clinical competency evaluations.

  • Support the certification expiration renewal process to ensure RBTs maintain BACB registration.

  • Participate in company media-related and cultural initiatives, including events, blogs, podcasts, and videos.

  • Lead the LRP Program.

  • Provide technology training to new RBTs, specifically in Central Reach (CR).

  • Assist in the orientation, training, and mentoring of staff in collaboration with other clinical team members.

  • Coordinate scheduling modifications and updates in Central Reach (with proper approval and training).

  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and study assistance to RBTs when required.

  • Direct RBTs with concerns and questions to the appropriate team members as necessary.

  • Organize and facilitate in-center morale and team-building initiatives in coordination with regional clinical and operations leadership.

  • Provide assistance in opening and closing the Center.

  • Greet clients and families.

  • Manage Center organization and set-up.

  • Maintain supplies and inventory.

  • Serve as backup support to the Center Director for various responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2 Letters of recommendation (Either 2 BCBA, or 1 BCBA 1 Admin/CIO)
  • 12 months at InBloom with no disciplinary actions required
  • 24 months of direct ABA experience required
  • Must have or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • BACB Registered Behavior Technician Certificate required

Additional eligibility requirements

  • Must currently be a Full-Time RBT with open availability

  • Must abide by the RBT Ethics Code on the BACB

  • Must abide by HIPAA policies set forth by InBloom

  • History of supporting company initiatives and values in line with InBloom's mission

  • Must have reliable transportation, driver's license, insurance, and smart phone

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have excellent time management and interpersonal skills

  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to take direction from senior staff members

  • Must have consistently completed Central Reach notes

  • Must be willing to and able to attend training seminars as needed

Work environment

  • Noise Level is moderate to loud

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Travel required

  • Up to 30% travel, by car or plane, to assigned regions that InBloom currently provides services in or will be providing services in the future.

USD $24.50 - USD $27.00 /Hr.
