About the Role
The Company is seeking a Market Risk Analytics Manager to join their Market Risk Management team. This role is pivotal in providing independent oversight for market risk and liquidity risk, including the banking book and trading book. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the formulation of hypotheses, data translation, and the design and measurement of experiments to generate insights for business decisions. They will also be expected to lead initiatives, guide the work of quantitative and business associates, and ensure that the team's activities align with regulatory guidance and requirements. The Market Risk Analytics Manager will be at the forefront of evaluating and enhancing the company's risk management practices, with a focus on interest rate risk and liquidity risk.Applicants must have a Master's degree in a quantitative field with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including knowledge of financial mathematics, advanced Excel, statistical analysis, and data visualization, are essential. The role requires a solid understanding of risk management concepts such as Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio, and ALM practices. Experience with QRM is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills, and be able to influence and partner effectively at all levels of the organization.
