Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in a team-oriented environment to effectively implement tailored, person-centered plans for each individual, ensuring their unique needs and goals are met.
• Aid in the social inclusion of individuals with developmental disabilities, encouraging their active participation in various community settings and activities.
• Provide transportation using your own vehicle, with mileage compensation.
• Guide and support people with disabilities in finding and maintaining suitable employment, playing a key role in their professional development and job stability.
• Assist individuals in learning and mastering tasks autonomously as outlined in their personal plans, fostering independence and personal growth.
• Engage with various community members and groups to foster understanding, acceptance, and positive relationships.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of direct support experience preferred
• Experience in teaching is a plus
• Valid CA Driver License and proof of auto Insurance
• Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screen
