We are searching for a Pharmacy Technician in New York, NY to join our team!

As a Pharmacy Technician, you would work under the direct supervision and guidance of a pharmacist as part of the team to ensure patients receive their medication in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Type and bill prescriptions with precision and attention to detail
• Provide support in the handling of insurance claims and resolve billing issues
• Receiving and confirming prescription orders
• Preparing and filling prescriptions
• Interacting with customers and answering questions
• Managing inventory and performing organization tasks
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, removing outdated drugs
• Organizes medications for pharmacists to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities.
• Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

We’re Looking For Candidates With:

• Attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy systems knowledge; experience working with databases. Knowledge of BEST RX software systems (Preferred)
• Familiarity with insurance billing procedures and third-party prescription plans
• Microsoft Excel Proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week

Schedule:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician: 2 years (Required)

Language:

• Spanish (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• New York, NY 10033: Relocate before starting work (Required)
