In-Charge Energy also recently announced key partnerships with Ryder Truck, Navistar, and Lonestar Specialty Vehicles.Job DescriptionIn-Charge Energy, a high-growth startup in vehicle fleet electrification, seeks a Project Manager to manage charging electrification rollouts in the Western US. In-Charge Energy supports some of the biggest brands in the automotive and trucking industry. The Project Manager will oversee turnkey electrical installations at facilities across the US to enable fleets to convert to electric. The position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Key objectives include leading subcontractors to project completion, maintaining safety standards, reporting on progress, and cataloging results.Responsibilities:· Responsible for safety initiatives and meeting aggressive and high-profile corporate goals.· Management of multiple projects involving electrical infrastructure in parking lots and garages.· The PM will be responsible for collaborating with Service to review and support projects in the development cycle of the project.· Management of the stakeholder relationship for all projects relative to project execution and construction contract management· Performance tracking (schedule, budget, risks, claims, EH&S, quality, etc.) and implementation of corrective measures if necessary· Implementation of project management procedures.· Manage and optimize pre and post-production project budgets and manage risk.· Provide accurate and timely leadership and external partners with updates on multiple projects.· Negotiate and administer contracts with 3rd party contractors and subcontractors.· Work with procurement to assure compliance with procedures and the timely delivery of equipment, processing of change orders and approval of invoices· Significant regional (3 days per week) and possible statewide (1 day per week) travel.· Adapt to a changing business model and learn to contribute to the organization.Qualificationso Strong technical capabilitieso Enterprising, self-starter attitudeo Adaptable to the changing dynamics of start-up business strategyo Proven working experience in service operationso Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillso Detail-oriented, resourceful, diligent and able to operate independently with limited supervision (completing assigned work accurately and in a timely manner)o BS in Engineering or Licensed Master Electricians with 2 years college credito 5 years of Project Management experience with hands-on field project managemento Excellent interpersonal and communication skillso Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Producto Proficiency with Salesforce, ZenDesk, Sitetracker, or equivalent software a pluso Leadership ability in a high-performance culture with the ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectivelyo Extensive experience in scheduling construction at multiple sites at once and managing subcontractors and other vendorso PMP (Project Management Certification) preferredo Good driving skillso Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain is desirableAdditional InformationPosition Details:Remote working is expected during COVID-19 workplace safety closureMinimal travel is required.Immediately available.Expected to fill this position by November 30th, 2020Reports to SVP, OperationsIn-Charge offers a competitive benefits package including 401(k) retirement contribution matching Other Information:Submit your resume and expression of interest along with any relevant work product for consideration to joinourteam(@)inchargeus.com.All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
