CERTIFIED PAYROLL PROFESSIONAL

Imprimis is currently seeking a Certified Payroll Professional for immediate hire for their client, a leading construction company located in Northeast Dallas.
This position will report directly to the payroll manager and will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, including ensuring compliance with prevailing wage laws, accurately calculating wages and deductions, processing payroll reports, and maintaining employee records.
Additionally, the Certified Payroll Professional will assist in various accounting tasks such as journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and month-end closings.

QUALIFICATIONS :
- Certified Payroll Professional
- 5 years relevant experience
- B.S. degree in accounting or related field preferred (minimum 9 hours of accounting related courses)
- Experience in NetSuite Suitepeople and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in dealing in extremely fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Process semi-monthly payroll for 2 companies, in multiple states, for 200 employees
- Enter PTO requests and monitor PTO accrued balances
- Review, approve and process health insurance related vendor invoices
- Calculate 401k match
- Maintain Employee records
- Enter new hire information into the benefits platform and spearhead Open Enrollment
- Maintain up to date ACA information and applicability
- Month-end journal entries
- Assist employees by answering payroll related questions.
- Any tasks, or special projects directed by the President / CEO, CFO, or other corporate officers that contribute to the growth and success of the company.
