JOB SUMMARY: 

IPFS is hiring a Vice President of Insurance Company Management. The primary goal of this position is to ensure the financial stability/viability of insurance companies is adequate to provide timely return premiums in the event of cancellation of financed policies. This position monitors insurance companies that are itemized as policy issuers listed on premium finance agreements where IPFS provides loans to insureds through its network of insurance agents, general agents, and insurance companies. 

The leader in this position must be detail-oriented with very strong analytical skills. This person must provide a high level of service and professionalism through written and verbal communication with all levels of IPFS associates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ongoing regular financial analysis of insurance company financial viability/stability as they relate to premium financing risk associated with loans originated for IPFS Clients and their insured borrowers. Establish lending limits, guidelines, with regular modifications to limits and decisions to reduce limits based on analysis.
• Daily review of exceptions related to policy financing requests for insurance companies in excess of established credit limits for routine access to IPFS lending approval.
• Ongoing industry monitoring for trends related to insurance company market activity including trends, risks, regulatory activity, state insurance guaranty activity and general industry awareness. (AM Best, S&P, Demotech, NAIC, Kroll [KBRA], Fitch, Moody’s and all state organizations)
• Routine reporting to provide activity and reporting based on current operating system and status management.
• Organize, lead and deliver the Insurance Company Risk Committee agenda and material for review and reporting to the IPFS Audit Committee on at least a quarterly basis. 
• Maintain, administrate, and monitor the Insurance Company Management Policy and Procedures to maintain applicability to the IPFS business operating environment
• Participate in the quarterly Credit Quality meetings to provide insight as required into the activity of insurance companies and the market based on current IPFS delinquency. 
• Miscellaneous reporting and monitoring as required by IPFS Executive Committee leadership.
• Contribute to credit analysis and review of potential large commercial loans.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Strong understanding of data, data relationships, core financial statement evaluations and specifically related to insurance company activity. 
• Ability to establish strong outside network connections to insurance company industry experts and regulatory agencies to ensure knowledge flow and awareness for IPFS. 
• Certifications related to the insurance company industry are a plus
• 5 or more years Financial Services work experience
• Insurance industry experience preferred
