Do you have a caring heart and genuine patience for individuals with developmental disabilities? If so, IMPACT SUPPORT SERVICES wants you to join our team. The Community Support Professional (CSP) will provide assistance and companionship for individuals living in their own homes who need a little assistance each week to live their best lives. The work shift is typically shorter, and this is an ideal position for a student who wants to gain invaluable experience in a people-compassionate field. After the initial 80 hours of paid training, candidates may expect to work 6-15 hours per week, and more.

Job Summary: Community Support Professional works directly with an individual to provide the specific services to meet the individualized needs of that individual. The Community Support Professional reports to a Program Manager.

Pay Range for this position is $17.50 to $19.00 and will be based on experience and education. $1 shift differential on all evening and a $3 differential on weekend hours.

Upon completion of six months of employment, you will receive a $.50/hour rate increase. Upon completion of 12 months of employment, you will receive a second $.50/hour rate increase.

 Candidate must be 18 years of age

  • A Valid Driver's License with the ability to obtain a Class E Drivers License within 14 days of hire
  • Current Vehicle Insurance in employee's name
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass driving and criminal background checks
  • Proven track record of 6 months at one company 
  • Excellent written communication
  • Proficiency in English 
  • Must have reliable transportation
