Job Summary
Quality Engineer responsible for developing, implementing, and improving quality standards and processes for our client.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quality standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Participate in all aspects of quality, including APQP, problem solving, GD&T, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and work instructions.
- Perform quality audits and ensure conformance to requirements.
- Advise the Quality Manager on matters of quality and recommend corrective action.
- Provide technical assistance and support to manufacturing.
- Develop and execute protocols and reports.
- Communicate with suppliers and customers.
- Implement strategic quality planning.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering.
- Knowledge of ISO 16949 requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in supplier development and teaching quality tools.
