Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a permanent position with excellent growth opportunities and competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
2. APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning): Lead and support the APQP process to ensure new product launches meet quality targets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, develop timelines, and ensure effective communication throughout the process.
3. PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis): Conduct PFMEA to identify potential failure modes and their impact on product quality. Develop strategies to mitigate risks and improve overall product reliability.
4. PPAP (Production Part Approval Process): Oversee the PPAP process to ensure all required documentation, including control plans, process flow diagrams, and measurement system analysis, are completed accurately and on time.
5. IATF (International Automotive Task Force): Ensure compliance with IATF standards and requirements. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations to proactively address any potential quality issues.
6. Control Plans: Develop and maintain control plans to ensure consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process. Identify critical control points and implement effective monitoring and control measures.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record of successfully implementing quality systems and processes.
2. Knowledge: Strong understanding of APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, IATF, and Control Plans. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
3. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or patterns. Strong problem-solving skills to address quality issues and implement effective solutions.
4. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex quality concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in quality documentation and adherence to quality standards.
6. Continuous Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to quality improvement. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry best practices.
