Job Title: Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine

Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced or new graduate pulmonologist to join our pulmonary critical care medicine (PCC) team in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a well-established private practice with an inpatient/outpatient mix. The call will be 1:5 and additional sleep fellowship experience is a plus.

- Diagnose, treat, and monitor patient conditions
- Manage and coordinate patient care
- Provide patient and family education
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Review patient tests and medical histories
- Consult with and refer patients to other specialists

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonology
- Valid state medical license 
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient care skills

- Previous experience in Pulmonology/PCC preferred
- Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently
- Working knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
