New and Renewal Benefits Account Manager (Health Insurance)

Account management position open due to retirement of the current account manager. What to work for a small business who has a work/life balance with unlimitied approved time off? Responsibilities:

Experience needs to include Account Management (sales, open enrollments, renewals, etc.) with groups ranging from small to mid-size. Has worked with carriers including BCBS, UHC, Humana, Aetna, Delta Dental, Principal and more. Manages entire renewal books (with support), reviewing and analyzing books monthly for loss/gain and also up-sells ancillary lines on and off renewal.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of previous experience in New and Renewal Benefits Account Management in health insurance.

• Knows the renewal process.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to analyze data and make informed recommendations.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in using computer software and databases (Blue Access for produces portal).

• Knowledge of benefits regulations and compliance requirements in Illinois.

• Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Outlook & Excel.
