Impact Solutions is Hiring a Maintenance Reliability Engineer Near Portland, OR

We been engaged to find a Maintenance Reliability Engineer with hands-on experience in manufacturing maintenance, continuous improvement, and corporate Lean Six Sigma programs.

This role will be accountable for the coordination and enabling the site leadership in the overall loss prevention of the plant equipment and process technology, site facilities & buildings to support delivery of the KPIs and quality metrics. You will ensure un-interrupted service is provided and compliance to Quality, Health Safety & Environment management systems and standards.

Maintenance Reliability Engineer overview:

  • Co-ordinate the execution of Building Maintenance program, Facilities maintenance program, Capex management & OPEX (M&R) budgets, site Technology & Automation maintenance, Asset & Master data management, Service providers/ OEM-original equipment mfg. contracts & SLA-site level agreement adherence, adherence to Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements are adhered.
  • Implement IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working: delivering zero breakdowns via preventive/predictive maintenance strategies and technical mastery of maintenance and operation teams; PM (Progressive Maintenance) Pillar, and CBM (condition based monitoring), Visual controls & tools Mgmt., Loss elimination, Lubrication mgmt. & Calibration of equipment(s) etc.
  • Role model Values and principles through effective coaching, and building capability of Operating teams via specific training on routine maintenance, equipment breakdown and CIL techniques.
  • Interface with key stakeholders internally & externally to develop and maintain effective relationships, align priorities in order to deliver the company objectives, and goals.

Maintenance Reliability Engineer qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred but not required.
  • 3 years of maintenance engineer experience is required.
  • Planned maintenance experience preferred.
  • Mechanical or electrician engineering background is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in maintenance, including Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems, Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3, and TPM, Phases 3 & 4 tools problem solving.
  • Capability to coordinate and enable loss prevention of plant equipment, facilities, and technology to meet quality metrics.
  • Experience in implementing IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma ways of working to achieve zero breakdowns and ensure preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, with experience in SAP Maintenance Module or ERP system is a plus.
