Job Summary:

Seeking* a highly motivated, reliable Mold-Maintenance Technician to join our growing company! *

The Mold Technician will be responsible for safely performing all maintenance activities on aluminum and stainless-steel molds. This includes completing maintenance and preventative maintenance (planned and unplanned); and performing various assembly, fabrication, welding, or installation activities. This position is a cross-function role and will work closely across the organization to help ensure efficient operation, smooth workflow, and exceptional quality output.

Job Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Monitor, inspect and document all mold inventory, repairs that need to be completed and estimated time of completion.
• Keep up with company tools that include but are not limited to grinders, plasma cutters, hand tools and welders needed for the job responsibility.
• Perform preventative maintenance duties including the upkeep and organization of mold maintenance records.
• Responsible for using safe procedures and following safety protocols at all times.
• Must fabricate fixtures and jigs for different molds.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Minimum of 5 years of stainless steel and aluminum fabrication including Tig welding Stainless Steel, Aluminum and Mig welding mild steel.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to respond to after-hours calls when required.
