Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with expertise in Trash and Laundry Chute Industry and experience in compaction equipment manufacturing and design. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of architecture and structural design principles, coupled with a proven track record in managing engineering teams and projects in this specialized field.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams involved in the manufacturing and design of Trash and Laundry Chute materials and equipment.
• Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization to production, ensuring that all design specifications and engineering standards are met.
• Material Selection and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to select appropriate materials for chute construction, considering factors such as durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Coordinate material testing to validate performance and compliance with industry regulations.
• Structural Design: Utilize expertise in architecture and structural design to develop innovative chute systems that integrate seamlessly with building structures while optimizing space utilization and functionality.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to maintain the highest standards of product quality and reliability. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
• Project Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress against established goals and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams, to gather feedback, address concerns, and align engineering efforts with business objectives. Cultivate strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in Trash and Laundry Chute materials and equipment manufacturing and design, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.
• Expertise in architecture and structural design principles, with a focus on building systems integration and optimization.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, allocate resources, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards governing chute design, construction, and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of motivating teams, driving innovation, and achieving results.
• Proficiency in CAD software preferable (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
