St. John’s Lutheran School is seeking an Assistant Principal to serve our students, families, and staff at our school in Baraboo, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will prayerfully help support the academic improvement of the school, support the completion of the accreditation process with emphasis on our WELS accreditation standards, and contribute to helping our students develop as mature, able, and responsible Christians to the praise and glory of God. Minimum Qualifications

• Shows evidence of Christian maturity and strong grasp of the essence of Christian education
• Applicable bachelor’s degree or higher
• Training and experience in school administration
• Submission to the mission statement of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the ministry statement of St. John’s Lutheran School.

PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with people of different ages and ethnic backgrounds, preferably within a school setting.
• Experience working within a ministry/church setting; preferably a private school in association with a church.

Terms of Employment

• This is a 2-year position from the start date and will be reevaluated on an annual basis.
• $55,000 - $70,000 per year; depending on qualifications and experience
