IMEG Corp. is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer in our Louisville, KY office. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will perform calculations, system design, equipment selections, reports, progress submittals and BIM instructions to assure project completeness and accuracy on time, within monetary budget and in accordance with IMEG design standards.

Some key duties and responsibilities include:

• Lead design for mechanical systems and mentor junior staff
• Research, coordinate, verify, schedule, and document various design aspects
• Build, maintain, and develop client relationships
• Quickly solve problems and seek the advice of the Project Manager
• Perform services as required by the contract services agreement

Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:

• Knowledge of mechanical design and technical aspects
• Demonstrated aptitude for project management
• Knowledge and understanding of fluid, material, and atmospheric dynamics
• Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and BIMprograms
• Ability to communicate clearly both orally and written

Education and experience requirements are:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum 4 years of qualifying experience
• Professional Engineering license
