IMCO Utility Supply is Hiring a DRIVER / WAREHOUSE Near Urbana, IL

IMCO Utility Supply has an immediate opening for a Class A CDL local delivery driver / warehouse position in our Urbana, IL branch. No nights and no weekends. Health, Vision and Dental insurance offered after 30 days. 401K after 1 year. Competitive pay.

We are looking for a career-minded individual seeking a long-term opportunity with a growth-oriented company. Experience in a waterworks, plumbing or construction industry is a plus. This position would include local deliveries to our customer job sites, loading/unloading trucks, and assisting customers in the warehouse.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:

Local deliveries to customer job sites which may also include unloading, ensuring accurate delivery of product and ticket with material.

Maintain vehicle logs and bills of lading

Report any accidents or traffic violations; report any vehicle damage or defects before and after scheduled route.

Load trucks with daily deliveries; unload product at customer sites.

Plans route to and from customer sites

Work inside warehouse during downtime; assisting customers, receiving, stocking, etc.

Requirements:

Driving experience with flatbed/strapped material

Valid Class A CDL

Ability to lift at least 50lbs

Tow motor/fork-lift experience a plus

Our customer base consists of utility contractors, fire protection, and municipalities in central and southern Illinois, and eastern Missouri. Our product offerings consists of pipe, valves, hydrants, and accessory items necessary for the installation of water, sewer, and storm sewer lines and other underground utilities.
