Overview
The Sensory and Insights Associate is responsible for the execution of studies to support data generation for the marketing and R&D organizations. This role will be involved in the day-to-day set-up, analysis, and reporting of research studies and assist the Insights and Innovation Manager with more transversal projects. The ideal candidate would have attention to detail in the execution of on-going daily business activities, be curious to better understand and explain results of studies, and be willing to continue to grow and develop new capabilities as the needs of the organization change. There are several key responsibilities that fall within the purview of this role:Sensory Evaluation

Own shelf-life dashboard; ensure scheduling of studies, on-time deployment of ballots on Compusense, and delivery of shelf-life data per Wrike timelines
Maintain a standard protocol for shelf-life tasting evaluations inclusive of ballot creation, data collection, issue escalation, and annual panel maintenance/training
Own opportunity identification for shelf-life tasting process improvement or standardization
Create reporting as part of shelf-life evaluation completion, supplying product over time data to contribute to final report and activity wrap-up
Support internal project team tastings, acting as a subject matter expert for sensory and ensuring objective-driven tasting sessions with fit-for-purpose sample presentation and actionable outcomes
Plan and execute formal internal sensory evaluations to support project work in R&D utilizing Compusense and proper sensory evaluation protocols including difference from control, tetrad, 2-AFC, and affective testing

Insights Generation and Curation

As needed, assist with execution and analysis of primary insights research to support marketing content creation
Together with marketing, work to build customer presentations or curate data to support other external-facing communications

Customer/Stakeholder Management

Create reports and present data to internal teams and customers on an as-needed basis to support customer tastings and product evaluations
Support the Insights and Innovation manager with workshops and presentations to facilitate generative insights creation or deploy learnings to customers or the organization
Maintain relevant sensory and insights databases: Compusense product and panel management, internal Sensory and Insights SharePoint research repository, sensory incentive management
