Imasen Bucyrus Technology is Hiring a Quality Technician Near Mount Pleasant, TN

Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED plus 3 or more years industrial quality experience.
  • Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 1 to 3 years industrial quality experience.
  •  Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gages.
  • CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience a plus.
  • Familiar with ISO/TS, AIAG and other automotive standards (ISO/TS internal audit experience a plus).
  • Knowledgably in use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to read/understand part drawings.
  • Understand use of Poke-yokes (error proofing).
  • ASQ Quality Technician Certification or familiar with the body of knowledge a plus.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities
Interface with assigned production lines daily to ensure quality standards are being met. Respond to all line quality issues and assist production with problem solving and implementing countermeasures. Perform measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages. Use CMM to measure components and finished assemblies. Perform in-house calibrations. Gather data for quality matrixes and statistical analysis. Perform in-process audits and internal quality system audits. Identify continuous improvement opportunities and assist with implementation. Communicate issues/concerns to the management team.
  •  Monitor/conduct sort activities (internal/external).
  • Perform daily audits and record results.
  • Follow and review OP Standards.
  • Perform weld Macro testing to support production requirements.
  • Gather/Input problem tracking data.
  • Complete all required documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management team.
