• Position Title: ELL Aide

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Reports to: Principal

Position Description: Provide safety services to students and school staff.

Essential Functions:

• Support Imagine Schools Vision, Mission and Goals.
• Supervises students on the playground, cafeteria and classroom.
• Sets up cafeteria, wipes tables, and cleans up spills on tables and floors.
• Monitors students who go to the restroom.
• Supervises students in the lunch line and in the classroom
• Assists students during lunch and helps direct students to playground after lunch period.
• Picks up trash from tables and off floor.
• Wipes tables and seats between lunch periods.
• Sweeps under tables as needed.
• May assist with emptying trashcans and replacing trashcan liners.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED and a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
• Experience: Experience working with children is preferred
• Knowledge, Ability & Skills:
• Capable of overseeing students in a classroom, on the playground and in the lunchroom
• Effective communicator with the ability to relate to, build positive rapport with students, staff and teachers, and work cooperatively.
• Fingerprints Clearance Card
