Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Salary: $115,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year

Position Summary:

In this role, you will work closely with physicians to monitor, collect, and process radiological and physiological data during diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as coronary and peripheral angiograms, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), and Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA). You will be responsible for monitoring patients' hemodynamic status, initiating appropriate interventions, and documenting patient information before, during, and after procedures. Additionally, you will prepare and educate patients and their families prior to discharge.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent (within 6 months) experience in either Critical Care or Cath lab (Note: ER experience will not be considered as critical care experience)
• Willingness to take mandatory call during Stemi Call situations

On Call:

• Response Time: 30 minutes (must be dressed, in the room, ready to go)
• Minimum of 1 weekend per month (Saturday 7AM to Monday 7AM)
• 8-15 after hours calls per month
• Holiday call rotation

Hours: 4 - 8hr Shifts, Variable Start Times and Days Off

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Critical Care or Cath Lab
• Willingness to take call
• Ability to meet 30-minute response time
