• The physical therapy staff members play a vital role in providing comprehensive and high-quality therapy services to ensure the health and well-being of individuals.

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our exceptional team. A valid physical therapy license in the state is required.

Responsibilities :

Initiate skilled physical therapy treatments as per physician's orders and maintain regular communication with the physician.

Record evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries for residents participating in the physical therapy program.

Collaborate with other healthcare staff to address the specific needs of residents and optimize rehabilitation or functional maintenance.

Participate in Care Planning meetings and attend in the absence of the Director of Physical Therapy.

Maintain statistical records of treatments provided.

Assist with service training programs when requested.

Update and maintain the plan of care in the Inter-disciplinary Kardex.

Submit requisitions for necessary supplies needed in the treatment of residents to the Director of Physical Therapy.

Assume all duties of the Director of Physical Therapy when they are absent, including supervising Physical Therapy Aides and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

Qualifications :

• Graduation from an approved physical therapy school is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of experience in physical therapy.
• Interest in providing physical therapy treatment to geriatric, subacute, and adult populations.
• Ability to effectively supervise and direct others is necessary.
