We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing essential care to patients.

Description :

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, your main responsibilities will include assisting patients in carrying out treatment plans and participating in therapeutic activities.

This will involve administering both manual and non-manual physical exercises, as well as providing support and encouragement to patients during ambulatory functional activities and daily-living tasks.

Additionally, you will be involved in applying necessary assistive and supportive care. You will also assist in assessing evaluations and test results, helping to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.

Documenting patient care services will be an important part of your role, ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements.

Your duties will include

• Conducting follow-up visits for home health orthopedic patients
• Meeting eligibility requirements for home health services
• Providing maintenance therapy
• Driving to visit patients

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program

Current state licensure

At least 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a home health setting

Strong interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
