Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator
The EHS Specialist will assume the role of leading and overseeing the protection of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security within the organization, with a focus on fostering a safety-driven culture.
Key responsibilities include :
- Act as a catalyst in establishing and promoting a safety culture throughout the organization
- Take charge of implementing environmental policies and practices
- Provide comprehensive environmental training for all staff members at various levels
- Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations
- Create and develop safety procedures
Required Skills :
Successful completion of a four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline, or a related field of study.
A Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience of 5 years in managing EHS programs and enhancing safety performance
- Preferred professional certifications include CIH, CSP, CHMM, and / or PE
- Prior experience in non-union environments is desirable
