The Manager, Annuity New Business is responsible for all Annuity New Business of multiple carrier clients. Annuity New Business department is a fast-paced, high-volume, and critical business function. This role is pivotal in overseeing the processing, compliance, and operational excellence of annuity administration on behalf of our clients. Job Description

• Lead the day-to-day Annuity new business issuance and asset transfers while ensuring all service level agreements (SLA) are met
• Collaborate with leadership and business partners to establish and document annuity business processes and procedures
• Seek to constantly improve business processes through root cause analysis, process improvement and system automation
• Manage the flow of new business applications, ensuring resources are properly aligned to meet expectations and processing standards are achieved
• Ensure compliance with new business replacement and exchange processing as well as suitability requirements
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to keep them updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Work with other departments to monitor against key controls such as AML, OFAC and know-your-customer requirements, including timely follow-up with carriers clients
• Efficiently resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
• Create and maintain appropriate management reports to inform on progress toward business targets
• Serve as the subject matter expert for annuity new business delivery and development
