EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This list is meant to be representative, not exhaustive. Some incumbents may not perform all the duties listed while in other cases related duties may also be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist Access Services students by instructing and completing scheduled proctored exams, including monitoring students, reading exams aloud, typing, dictating, and/or scribing as needed. Coordinate with faculty regarding scheduling, location, completion, and return of exams for Access Services students. Assist with outreach and data collection for students who have stopped out at the College. Delegate and/or assign proctor duties, as needed. Work closely with Testing Center to assist with access services students needs. Ensure exams are in correct format for the student such as text enlargements if needed. Administer the placement test for high school and college students needing accommodations. Assist in providing reasonable accommodations to students by securing materials in alternate formats and/or procuring assistive and adaptive technology. Assist with course and program advisement of students with disabilities. Assist students with the application process and collaborate with the Access Services Coordinator to determine reasonable accommodations for students that complete the process.Review disability documentation from students.Stay current on any necessary ADA trainings.Assist with access services and testing needs related to students with accommodations on all campuses.Perform related duties as required.
