Job Title: Desktop Administrator

Job Summary: The Desktop Administrator will help maintain and support approximately 60 users in a credit union IT Environment. This person will primarily work with Windows Desktop Systems in a combination of physical and virtual desktop environment, and shall support users with a variety of desktop and financial applications. This person will also work with IT Support Specialists and Consultants in supporting the company’s overall network environment. The organization currently uses Vmware ESX and Horizon View products to support virtual server and desktop systems. Experience with virtual technology is helpful, but not required.
Core Responsibilities
· Assist with the maintenance, patching and support of the organization’s Windows desktop systems.
· Assist with the maintenance and support of the organization’s desktop environment.
· Provide primary helpdesk and desktop support for users and financial applications.
· Provide remote support, phone support and onsite support when needed.
· Interface with different support groups including network support, hosted voice provider and the credit union’s core provider.
· Other duties as assigned.

Education / Experience
Preferred but not required: Associates Degree or higher with at least two years of related work experience.

Job Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Requirements
· Must be able to stand 8 hours straight.
· Capable of lifting a 5lb box.
· Able to use a phone and keyboard.
· Perform basic math.
· Possess critical thinking skills.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
